About Me

Sibi Thomas is a Kerala police officer, actor, writer, and loving father. He came into the limelight after his debut movie Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum in 2017.

Born on December 18, 1972, in Kanhangad, Kasaragod, Sibi Thomas has always worked with a big dream in mind. It wouldn’t be wrong to say ‘he was destined for success’, as from a very young age he has been known to excel in almost every stage of life.

Sibi Thomas did his Primary education at GLPS Chully & GHSS Maloth Kasaba in Kasargod, Kerala where he excelled in studies and was elected the School Leader at the young age of 16, in the year 1988.

Malayala Puraskaram for the Best Malayalam Novel (2022)

Sibi Thomas has been awarded the Malayala Puraskaram in 2022 for his first malayalam novel 'Kuttasammatham'.

Award One
Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service (2015)

As a token of appreciation and recognition for the committed and selfless public service at the Kerala Police Dept, Sibi Thomas received the Chief Minister’s Police Medal in 2015. He had also attained 68 ‘Good Service’ entries from the Kerala Police Dept when he had joined the Dept in 2013.

Badge of Honour for Excellence in the Bureau (2014, 2019, 2022)

Sibi Thomas received the ‘Badge of Honour’ thrice for excellence in his work at the Intelligence Bureau. Ever since he began his duty at the Bureau in 2010, Sibi Thomas achieved ‘Sukriti’ for Best Performance in 2012. Following this, he accomplished the Badge of Honour for Detective Excellency, Special Operation, and Excellence in Investigation for the years 2014, 2019, 2022 respectively.

Kalabhavan Mani Memorial Award for Best Supporting Actor (2018)

Sibi Thomas has been awarded the ‘Kalabhavan Mani Memorial Award’ for the Best Supporting actor role for the movie Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum in 2018. This award was created in memory of Late Kalabhavan Mani who was an artist of great accomplishments and had a humanitarian heart. This award is given for exemplary performances by actors and actresses in the Malayalam Film industry and Sibi Thomas was one of the most deserving artists for his performance in the movie.

Badge of Honour in 2021 for Exccellency in Investigation
